The Controlled Release Society (CRS) is a global organization. Global Member Engagement is at the heart of CRS. The collective expertise, views, and experiences of the CRS community help drive scientific discovery and technical innovation for the betterment of all members and the society.

Global Membership Engagement Leadership Training 
The Global Membership Engagement Leadership training session is an invitation-only session to increase the awareness of the CRS leadership on various topics to raise awareness of impartiality and global access and their implementation. The session will build a common understanding of certain aspects and their importance in CRS and the field. Then the session will give examples and learning points on unconscious bias and how to include people with different backgrounds through leadership.

A Collaborative Breakfast Discussion on the Impact of Impartiality in Science

Join us for a thought-provoking panel discussion with breakfast on the impact of impartiality in science, exploring how various perspectives contribute to innovation, collaboration, and scientific progress. This broad discussion will cover the importance of fostering a culture without boundaries in research, addressing barriers to participation, and highlighting practical steps to ensure opportunities for all within the scientific community. The panel will feature experts and thought leaders that will share their insights and experiences on the role of impartiality in advancing scientific discovery. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in an interactive Q&A session and participate in meaningful dialogue about how we can collectively build a more inclusive future in science.

Mix it Up at Lunch – Impartiality in Science
Mix it up a little and join the CRS Global Member Engagement Committee for Lunch! Come connect with members of the CRS Global Member Engagement Committee as we gather to celebrate and engage in meaningful discussion about impartiality. The lunch will begin with a brief 5-minute presentation introducing the committee and sharing ways for members to get involved. Following the presentation, we invite CRS members to engage in open conversations with one another. Prompting questions will be provided to spark discussion, but we also welcome conversations on any topics related to CRS, impartiality and global access. We look forward to seeing you there!
