(117) Efficient and controlled drug release from PEDOT synthesised via surface-tethered dopant templating
Introduction: Conductive polymers have been an attractive material for drug delivery studies due to their electro-actuating properties and good biocompatibility [1]. However, these polymers have not been widely used because of low drug loading, inefficient drug release efficiency, high batch-to-batch variability, and the lack of facile means of tuning their drug release profiles.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participant will be able to understand new approach for engineering PEDOT.
