(141) Ultrasonic stimulation in a 3D HA hydrogel accelerates cellular reprogramming for iPS generation
Introduction: Induced pluripotent stem cells (iPS) present significant potential for tissue regeneration base on pluripotency. Despite their promise, traditional methods for generating iPS have critical problems with low efficiency. Our previous study showed that hyaluronic acid (HA) hydrogel enhances iPS generation. In this subsequent study, we explored whether low-intensity ultrasound stimulation (LIUS) improves iPS generation in 3D HA hydrogel.
Learning Objectives:
Understand how ultrasound enhances iPSC reprogramming in 3D hyaluronic acid hydrogel.
Compare reprogramming efficiency between 2D and 3D culture conditions.
Evaluate translational potential of ultrasound-assisted 3D reprogramming.
