(303) Optimizing LNP-RNA Formulations: Key Insights into Size, Zeta Potential, and Stability
Introduction: RNA-containing lipid nanoparticles (LNP-RNA) are key in non-viral gene delivery. A challenge is optimizing lipid selection and formulation for target sizes and surface potential. This study uses DLS/SLS/ELS for rapid LNP-RNA characterization, focusing on size, polydispersity, and zeta potential. Results show how production methods, buffer conditions, and freeze-thaw cycles affect LNP formulations. These findings emphasize the need for precise characterization to optimize LNP-RNA stability and efficacy.
