(359) Exosome-Liposome Fusion System for Targeted Treatment of MCAO-Induced Brain Injury
Introduction: Ischemic stroke, particularly in the MCAO model, leads to severe neuroinflammation and lipid metabolism disruption, worsening neuronal damage. Despite progress in treatments, effective therapies are limited. This study explores the potential of exosomes derived from induced neural stem cells (Exo), Yulangsan polysaccharide-loaded liposomes (Lip), and their fusion (Exo-Lip) in alleviating MCAO-induced brain injury. Exosomes promote neuroregeneration, while Lip provides anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. Exo-Lip aims to enhance the therapeutic effects of both treatments.
Learning Objectives:
describe the therapeutic potential of exosome and liposome-based treatments for ischemic stroke
identify key biomarkers associated with neuroinflammation and lipid metabolism
