(410) Investigation of nifedipine and piperine loaded Bio-SNEDDS for the treatment of hypertension

Introduction: Hypertension is a chronic condition where blood pressure in the arteries is consistently elevated. It is a major risk factor for heart disease, stroke, and other cardiovascular disorders. Combination therapy using multiple antihypertensive agents helps lower blood pressure and reduce complications. This study aims to develop a novel combination of nifedipine and piperine using advanced bioactive self-nanoemulsifying drug delivery system (Bio-SNEDDS) technology for improved hypertension treatment.
