(446) Targeted LNPs for Improved In Vivo mRNA Delivery and Immune Responses
Introduction: This study investigates the use of chemically modified lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) to enhance in vivo mRNAdelivery. The goal is to improve immune cell targeting and optimize biodistribution for better therapeuticefficacy. Surface modifications are explored for their impact on cellular uptake and immune responses.Additionally, the study evaluates the expression profile of Fluc mRNA and tracks LNP biodistribution usingDiR labeling in an in vivo model.
Learning Objectives:
Understand the relationship between surface modifications and biodistribution in lipid nanoparticles
Evaluate the effect of various ligands on LNP biodistribution and Fluc mRNA expression over time
Explore LNPs' potential in enhancing immune responses via targeted mRNA delivery for immunization
