AI-Driven Design of Lipid Nanoparticles for mRNA Delivery

Lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) have become the leading non-viral platform for mRNA delivery, yet rational design remains a major bottleneck due to the vast chemical space and complex in vivo constraints. In this talk, I will introduce our lab’s AI-guided strategies to accelerate the discovery of high-performance LNPs, including deep learning frameworks, generative molecular design, and autonomous experimental platforms. I will highlight recent applications in therapeutic mRNA delivery as well as efforts to tailor LNPs for different cell targets. These advances demonstrate how data-driven approaches can transform RNA medicine by enabling more precise, tissue-targeted delivery with translational potential.
