Imaging in Drug Delivery
Nanoparticles hold promise to improve cancer therapy. However, their uptake in tumors is highly variable, leading to heterogenous therapeutic efficacy and off-target toxicity [1]. Here, we develop a scalable, imageable polymeric micelle system for individualized tumor uptake monitoring via imaging, while at the same time enabling tailored drug delivery to tumors and sentinel lymph nodes via tunable size and versatile administration route (i.e. subcutaneous and intravenous). This opens the opportunity for combined cancer nanotheranostics and immunomodulation within a single platform.
