Gene Delivery and Gene Editing
The rise of respiratory diseases creates a high demand for new therapies, but airway mucus presents a major barrier that traps and clears static particles, limiting drug distribution and penetration1. To address this problem, we developed biodegradable magnetic microrobots (µbots) that swim in viscous environments under rotating magnetic fields. These µbots can guide lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) carrying circular RNA for gene therapy through complex fluids for gene therapy, offering a promising approach for enhanced lung delivery in the lungs.
