Effective drug delivery to the brain remains a major therapeutic challenge. This presentation explores advanced nose-to-brain (N2B) delivery strategies using rationally designed nanomedicines. Dr. Eliana Lima will present multi-platform nanoparticle systems, including PEGylated, lipid–polymer hybrid, and biomimetic nanoparticles engineered to optimize mucoadhesion, mucus penetration, and CNS targeting. Emphasis will be placed on how surface properties influence brain accumulation, therapeutic efficacy, and translational outcomes in intranasal delivery. This session will highlight recent in vivo findings and clinically relevant insights derived from fruitful collaborative research.
