David Brayden is a Full Professor of Advanced Drug Delivery at University College Dublin. He is the (co)author of 300 research publications on drug delivery. David is a co-lead Principal Investigator in the Research Ireland Centre for Medical Devices (CURAM) and is the Coordinator of the EU Horizon Consortium, BUCCAL-PEP, working on buccal films to administer peptides. David is a Fellow of the Controlled Release Society, the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, and the Royal Irish Academy. He is Chief Editor of Frontiers in Drug Delivery, and is the Chairperson of the Irish National Research Ethics Committee (Clinical Trials-D).
