Julien Bérard

Julien Bérard is the Global Head of Business at Corbion Biomaterials. In this role, he leads the market-driven development of the PURASORB® portfolio at Corbion, which includes lactide and glycolide (co-)polymers. Julien and his team work closely with partners to support them in the development of medical devices and long-acting pharmaceutical depots.
He joined Corbion in 2020 after a career at DSM (the Netherlands) where he held several positions including developing injectable microparticles.
Julien Berard obtained his MSc in Chemistry at the ENSCM of Montpellier (France) before graduating of an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management (the Netherlands).
