Priv.-Doz. Dr. habil. Simon Drescher, Managing Director of the PRC, is a pharmacist by training. After completing his PhD in pharmaceutical chemistry, he worked in different groups at the Univ Halle-Wittenberg, Germany, where he completed his habilitation in pharmaceutical chemistry in 2017. After two semesters as a deputy professor for Pharmaceutical Bioanalytics at the Univ Greifswald, Germany, he joined the PRC in 2019, first as deputy managing director and since Feb 2021 as its managing director. From March 2024 to March 2025, he was President of the CRS LC Germany/Switzerland/Austria (DeChAt); he has been its Secretary General since March 2025.
