Dr. Franziska Mitrach completed both her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Biotechnology at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. Following her studies, she pursued her doctoral research at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology (University Leipzig), focusing on siRNA delivery using oligomer-stabilized calcium phosphate nanoparticles. Since January 2023, Dr. Mitrach has continued her academic journey as a postdoctoral researcher in Pharmaceutical Technology. Her current research centers on innovative siRNA delivery strategies for bone tissue engineering applications, with a particular interest in the interplay between osteogenesis and angiogenesis to advance bone regeneration.
