Yashwardhan Ghanwatkar is a PhD candidate in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He has carried out research in the fields of drug delivery, formulation, and chemotherapy. His work involves developing and optimizing polymeric nanoparticle formulations, particularly those targeting KRAS mutations, to enhance tumor reduction in preclinical pancreatic cancer models. Yashwardhan has experience in synthesizing amphiphilic polymers for controlled drug release and has conducted extensive in vitro and in vivo evaluations to demonstrate the safety and efficacy of nanoformulations. His interests also include advanced analytical techniques, preclinical oncology research, and driving innovative therapeutic strategies.
