I am Rajith Singh Manan, a research scientist in the Langer and Anderson groups at MIT. I hold a Ph.D. in organic chemistry, with expertise in C-H activation, heterocycle synthesis, hydroamination, and enantioselective catalysis. At MIT, my research focuses on developing biodegradable lipids for non-viral delivery of RNA and DNA to various tissues in mice. My work aims to advance next-generation mRNA-based therapies, as well as gene-editing technologies, using innovative lipid nanoparticles.
