Dennis Aschmann is a chemist who earned his PhD in supramolecular chemistry from the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany. In 2020, he joined the group of Alexander Kros in Leiden University as a postdoctoral researcher, working on supramolecular biomaterials with a focus on drug delivery, particularly using lipid nanoparticles. He later moved to the University of Amsterdam, where he became part of an ERC-funded consortium dedicated to developing treatments for glioblastoma. His current research focuses on the design of lipid nanoparticles incorporating metal cages for targeted anti-cancer therapies.
