Ana Sofia Sousa, MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences, is a PhD student at CBQF (Universidade Católica Portuguesa) & i3s (University of Porto). Her research focuses on engineering multifunctional micro/nanoparticles to address intestinal inflammation. She is working on the gBiOT project, developing microrobotic technology for gastrointestinal tract disorders. Her interests are health sciences, biotechnology, nanotechnology and bioproducts, reflecting her commitment to global health and sustainability.
