Philipp Lapuhs is a 4th year PhD student in María José Alonso’s group at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. He focuses on nanocarrier design for siRNA and mRNA delivery, primarily targeting cancer and brain diseases. Additionally, he is invested in the deep characterization of NP structure and the correlation between synthetic and biological identity of NPs via protein corona studies. Prior to that, he did his master’s on extracellular vesicle-based drug delivery at the Helmholtz-Institute for Phramaceutical Research Saarland, Germany.
