Natália Teixeira is a PhD candidate at Institute for Research and Innovation in Health (i3S), University of Porto (Portugal), in collaboration with Karolinska Institutet (Sweden). Her work focuses on nanotechnology-based therapies for nucleic acid delivery to help overcome chemoresistance mechanisms. With a background in Biochemistry and a Master’s in Biotechnology and Synthetic Biology, Natália has developed expertise in nanomedicine, oral drug delivery, and cancer therapeutics. Her academic path includes international research experiences and contributions to both academic and industry-driven projects in nanotechnology and biomedical innovation.
