Tejabhiram Yadavalli, PhD is an Assistant Professor with UIC Ophthalmology, specializing in ocular drug delivery and antiviral therapies. His work focuses on innovative nanoparticle-based systems to enhance drug bioavailability and therapeutic outcomes. He is an engineering graduate with a MS in Nanotechnology and PhD in Magnetic Drug Delivery systems, all from SRM University, Chennai. He then joined as a postdoctoral fellow where he was trained to work with natural nanomachines - Viruses. During this academic career he has authored over 60 research and review articles in prestigious journals including Angewandt Chemie, Science Translational Medicine, Science Advances, PNAS, and Nature Communications.
