Alice Spadea is a Marie-Curie postdoctoral fellow at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics (MPI-CBG) in Dresden, Germany. As an Italian biologist, she pursued her Ph.D. in Pharmacy at the University of Manchester in the UK in collaboration with AstraZeneca, where she developed a research interest in cancer cell biology and drug delivery. Alice is currently continuing her research in the Zerial lab in Germany, focusing on in vitro reconstitution of the endosomal escape process, a key challenge in the effective delivery of RNA therapeutics.
