Paulo Faria is a PhD student at i3S – Institute for Research and Innovation in Health, University of Porto, Portugal. He is currently developing and studying the anticancer potential of a novel multi-drug cocktail for the treatment of glioblastoma. His work has shown great potential against preclinical in vitro models of glioblastoma (2D cultures and 3D spheroids), and the next steps will focus on assessing the therapeutic efficacy of the cocktail in mice. In his free time, Paulo enjoys watching football, playing videogames, and cook.
