He (Helena) Zhang, is a PhD candidate in Pharmaceutics at the University of Pittsburgh and Magee-Womens Research Institute, working in Dr. Rohan’s research group. Helena's work focuses on the delivery of antiretroviral drugs to vaginal mucosa using innovative drug delivery systems. She is evaluating the impact of formulation and process parameters on the mechanical and microstructural properties of thin film dosage forms, with an emphasis on developing scalable film manufacturing processes. In the summer of 2025, she joined Regeneron as an intern, contributing to monoclonal antibody (mAb) formulation strategies.
