Prof. Marcelle Machluf received her Ph.D. in Biotechnology Engineering from Ben-Gurion University. Since 2012, she has been a full professor at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. She has authored over 100 peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and holds 8 patents. Her research focuses on the development of biomimetic drug delivery platforms for the treatment of cancer and neurological diseases. A key innovation from her lab is the NanoGhost technology — a targeted delivery system designed to transport nucleic acids, such as mRNA and CRISPR-Cas9. This technology is the foundation for the establishment of a startup company.
