Hamid Ghandehari is Distinguished Professor of Molecular Pharmaceutics and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Utah. His team investigates advanced methods for drug and gene delivery and the relationship between physicochemical properties of nanoparticles with their toxicity. He is author of 245 manuscripts, 530 abstracts, has given 275 invited talks, served as Editor in Chief (2012-2022) of Advanced Drug Delivery Reviews, is Fellow of American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering, American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, and Controlled Release Society. He received his BS in Pharmacy (1989) and PhD in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry (1996) from the University of Utah.
