Jindřich Kopeček is Distinguished Professor of Biomedical Engineering and of Molecular Pharmaceutics at the University of Utah. He is an elected member of the US National Academy of Engineering and elected fellow of the US National Academy of Inventors. Kopeček's research interests are Multi-antigen T cell hybridizers, Drug-free macromolecular therapeutics, Nanomedicines for combination chemo- and immunotherapy, Nanomedicines for brain delivery, and Polymer-enhanced antibody-drug conjugates. Hydrogels from his laboratory have been in clinical use and HPMA copolymer - anticancer drug conjugates in clinical trials. Kopeček’s Hirsch index is 106; his publications have been cited 40,496 times (GoogleScholar 05292025).
