Yuval Shaked, PhD, is a Professor at the Technion’s Faculty of Medicine and former director of the Rappaport Technion Integrated Cancer Center. He served as vice dean and led national and international scientific societies. His research pioneered the concept that host responses to cancer therapy can promote tumor progression. He has published over 150 studies, received prestigious awards including the Krill and Youdim Prizes, and is funded by ISF and ERC grants. Prof. Shaked has supervised over 20 graduate students and founded two biotech companies focused on cancer diagnosis and therapy, combining academic innovation with translational impact.
