Jiamin Wu, Ph.D., is a pharmaceutical scientist specializing in drug delivery and translational biomaterials. He is now a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Johns Hopkins University. His research focuses on non-invasive delivery platforms for biologics, including peptides, proteins, and nucleic acids, with particular emphasis on mucosal delivery, cell-penetrating peptides (CPPs), and lipid nanoparticles (LNPs). With over a decade of interdisciplinary experience bridging pharmacy, nanomedicine, and RNA therapeutics, he is advancing technologies that enhance tissue targeting, intracellular delivery, and clinical translatability.
He is a recipient of the CIHR Fellowship and has also been awarded the MITACS Lab2Market Grant, the NanoMedicines Innovation Network (NMIN) Exchange Award, and the 2025 Future Alumni Agent of Change (FAAoC) Award from the University of British Columbia. His research on oral insulin drops for diabetes has attracted international media attention, with coverage by Global News, CTV, CBC, and more than 50 other media outlets worldwide.
