Dr. Jie Shen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Bouvé College of Health Sciences, Northeastern University. She is a immediate past-Chair of the CRS Diversified Products: Delivery Beyond Pharma (C&DP) Division and past Chair of the AAPS In Vitro Release and Dissolution Testing (IVRDT) Community. Her current research interests include formulation development, in vitro performance testing, bioequivalence assessment and IVIVC of complex dosage forms such as targeted nanocarriers, long-acting injectables, as well as locally-acting dosage forms administrated through ophthalmic, rectal and vaginal routes. Her group has also been focused on 3D printing and bioprinting for pharmaceutical applications.
