Ana Melero obtained her degree in Pharmacy from the University of Valencia in 2005. She completed her Euro-PhD in 2009 and she undertook a three-year postdoctoral position at the Helmholtz Institute for Pharmaceutical Research Saarland.
In April 2012, she joined the University of Valencia, where she became an Associate Professor in 2021. During this time, she secured eight competitive research grants as principal investigator, funded by European, national, and regional agencies. In 2020, she was appointed Mobility Coordinator of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Valencia.
