I am Seungcheol Kim, currently a Ph.D. candidate in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), under the guidance of Professor Yeu-Chun Kim. I received my B.S. (2019) and M.S. (2021) degrees from KAIST in the same department. My research focuses on the development of CRISPR/Cas9-based nanotherapeutics, using artificial peptides and lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for targeted gene editing applications. I am particularly interested in designing responsive nanocarriers for efficient and safe delivery of genome-editing tools in disease models.
