Camille Ruffier is a third-year PhD student in the Nutrineuro laboratory (Univ. Bordeaux, INRAE, Bordeaux INP, Nutrineuro, UMR1286, Bordeaux, France). She works with Dr. Clémentine Bosch-Bouju (Nutrineuro, Bordeaux, France) and Prof. Sébastien Lecommandoux (LCPO, Bordeaux, France). Her thesis focuses on the development of a new technology at the chemistry-biology interface for the photocontrolled release of bioactive molecules in the brain. Through her PhD work, she became expert in polymersomes formulation and photorelease strategies both in vitro and in vivo. She is also mastering patch-clamp electrophysiology on brain slices and cell cultures. She aims to become a controlled release scientist.
