Achim Biesel is PhD student at the Helmholtz Institute for Pharmaceutical Research Saarland (HIPS), within the Department of Drug Delivery Across Biological Barriers under supervision of Prof. Claus-Michael Lehr. He is pharmacist by training and conducts research in the field of mRNA delivery, focussing on inhalable formulations. His research includes the design of nanoparticles as well as testing novel nebulizer platforms as Soft Mist Inhalers.
