Melgious Ang is currently a A*STAR postdoctoral researcher specializing in the design and development of next-generation lipid nanoparticle (LNP) technologies for mRNA therapeutics, with a specific focus on cancer immunotherapy. His research encompasses innovative strategies to overcome intracellular delivery barriers, and potentiate immune responses within the tumor microenvironment. Dr. Ang’s recent work includes pioneering photoactivatable LNP platforms to facilitate precise activation of immune pathways, particularly through the induction of tertiary lymphoid structures and completion of the cancer-immunity cycle. His contributions have been published in leading journals, including Advanced Materials, Nature Nanotechnology, and Science Advances, highlighting his expertise in nanomedicine research.
