Andong Liu, Ph.D. is Vice President and Head of Technology at METiS Pharmaceuticals. He received his Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and completed postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School. At METiS, Dr. Liu leads the development of the company’s core technology platforms, including AiLNP and AiRNA, which enable liver- and extrahepatic-targeted lipid nanoparticle (LNP) delivery and mRNA design. Under his leadership, these platforms—and a corresponding pipeline asset—has successfully entered first-in-human clinical trials.
