Kshitija Phatak is a PhD researcher at the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai, India, specializing in the design and development of nanovesicular drug delivery systems for infectious diseases. Her research focuses on development of clinically translatable delivery platforms including ocular, transdermal, topical, intravenous, and nose-to-brain systems. She is skilled in in-silico formulation modeling, Quality-by-Design (QbD)-based optimization, and a range of analytical methods including in-vitro, ex-vivo, and in-vivo (PK/PD) evaluations in small animals. In addition to academic research, Kshitija actively collaborates with industries to develop, formulate and simplify transdermal patch technologies.
