David Nakhla is a pharmacist with a PhD in pharmaceutics who is currently the head of ShinEtsu's pharmaceutical research and development laboratory in the United States. His research focuses on advancing drug delivery systems through the application of cellulose ethers in oral solid dosage forms with a particular emphasis on solubility enhancement (amorphous solid dispersions), granulation, as well as controlled and delayed-release formulations.
