Dr Ramya Kannan is a postdoctoral fellow at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. Her research focuses on developing polymer-incorporated lipid-based drug delivery systems, particularly for RNA delivery, and immunotherapy. Her research encompasses functional modification of the lipid composoition, and mechanistic investigation of endosomal release of the nucleic acids from lipid nanoparticles.
