Ri Tang, MD, is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy in Professor Zhu’s lab. His research focuses on nucleic acid therapeutics for pulmonary diseases, particularly circRNA and mRNA drug design, as well as lipid nanoparticle (LNP) delivery for cystic fibrosis. With expertise in molecular biology, pulmonary drug delivery, and translational research, he aims to develop innovative gene therapies to improve treatment outcomes for patients with respiratory diseases.
