Tech Session I: Artificial Intelligence and Predictive Models
Leverage HTS, HTA and predictive models to advance lipid nanoparticle formulation development
Tuesday, July 15, 2025
10:54 AM – 11:05 AM EDT
Introduction: Lipid nanoparticle (LNP) has transformed therapeutic delivery of emerging nucleic acid modalities (1). LNP shows complexity in both formulation compositions and physicochemical attributes (2). To improve formulation development efficiency at the early stage, it would be of significance to employ high-throughput screening (HTS) with automation to optimize LNPs across a large design space, as well as high-throughput analytical (HTA) and advanced modeling approaches to not only control formulation quality attributes, but also provide formulation design insights.
Learning Objectives:
At the completion of this activity, participants will know
Learn automation applications, and HTS and HTA design concepts
Learn how industrial formulation development can be facilitated by HTS and HTA strategies
Learn by examples of data mining and SAR approaches toward AI/ML-driven formulation development
