Joseph D. Tanfani is currently a doctoral candidate of pharmaceutics at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy in Saint Joseph’s University. His research concerns the 3D bioprinting of composite biopolymeric drug-loaded hydrogel scaffolds for therapeutic use in wound healing. He has submitted a patent related to his research and has had published a comprehensive review of 3D bioprinting to date.
