What to Expect When You Present Your Abstract


Once your abstract has been accepted you will have the chance to present at the CRS 2025 Annual Meeting & Exposition at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA, USA, from July 14-18, 2025. This premier global event is your opportunity to showcase your research and engage with leading experts in delivery science field.

Regardless of your presentation type, prepare to share your cutting-edge findings with peers from around the world, spark collaborations, and contribute to advancing the next generation of delivery innovations. This is your time to shine and make a memorable impact at CRS 2025!


Presentation Types





You’ll deliver a formal, time-limited talk (typically 10–20 minutes) to an engaged audience. This format allows you to explore your research in depth, followed by a Q&A session where you can address questions and foster discussion about your innovative contributions.





Display your work in the designated poster session area, where you can interact with attendees, answer questions, and receive feedback in a dynamic, informal setting. By presenting your poster you will have the opportunity to speak with poster judges to be considered for an array of poster awards that will be announced at Friday's dedicated sessions. 



Speaker & Presenter Tasks

 

As an abstract speaker or presenter there will be assigned tasks that you will have to complete in order to participate at the CRS 2025 Annual Meeting & Exposition. Your contributions are integral to the success of the program, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.


Oral Presentation Tasks




Deciding whether to accept or decline an oral presentation opportunity at the CRS 2025 Annual Meeting & Exposition, is a critical step in the progress and confirmation of the 2025 program. Once you have recived your official acceptance notification from CRS you must complete the acceptance form that is included in your notification. This will confirm your role in the program and allow you to move forward in completing your oral presentation tasks.

As part of your participation, you are required to upload your presentation materials through the Conference Harvester™ Speaker Portal. This will be the homepage for all of the presentation materials needed to complete your speaker profile and upload presentation materials.
  • Speaker Portal Link: You can find it located here. You will receive a welcome email from the system & instructions on how to access your speaker portal with the contact information designated on your submitted abstract.
  • Speaker Tasks: There will be an array of speaker tasks to complete in the speaker portal that will aid you in building your public profile on the CRS event website and mobile app. It will also aid you in uploading your presentation materials that only registered attendees will have access to onsite.
  • Task Deadlines: There will be corresponding deadlines for each task in the speaker portal to promote visibility among the attendees and to allow for technical checks & inclusion in the program. Please meet these deadlines to the best of your ability to promote a successful & seamless event.




CRS requires all abstract speakers & presenters to attend the CRS 2025 Annual Meeting & Exposition. In order to participate at the Annual Meeting you must be registered for the event. Poster Presentation Tasks

All accepted abstracts that are assigned as a poster presentation are required to create a poster to bring onsite at the Annual Meeting. Poster guidelines will be shared with your acceptance notifications. You will be asked to upload a digital copy of your poster to promote your participation at the Annual Meeting.
