(481) Microneedle for Rapid and Sustained Delivery of Acetaminophen and Caffeine for Migraine Therapy
Introduction: Conventional migraine treatments often face limitations, including delayed onset of action and suboptimal symptom relief. Oral therapies are hindered by symptoms like nausea and vomiting, while injectable options are frequently avoided due to their invasive nature. Microneedle (MN) technology offers a patient-friendly alternative for delivering caffeine (CAF) and acetaminophen (ACM), enabling rapid onset and sustained relief. This study focuses on developing a MN patch for controlled and efficient delivery of ACM and CAF to address these challenges.
