I am an associate director at formulation application lab of Evonik, heading the formulation group, to develop novel drug delivery systems of IR, DR and SR products.Also developed and patented complex solid and liquid oral modified release formulations such as transmucosal and self-emulsifying drug delivery systems. I have bachelor’s in pharmaceutical sciences, master’s in chemistry and PhD in pharmaceutical sciences. My research focus was on gastro retentive drug delivery systems, nanoparticles/solid dispersion formulations. More recent work is on improving solubility of ionic drugs by concept of acid-base-supersolubilization and its application in development of IR 3D printed tablets by fused-deposition modelling.
