Nidhi Sharma is a third-year Ph.D. candidate in the Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Connecticut (UCONN), with a strong academic foundation in pharmacology and hands-on experience in molecular biology. She earned her master’s degree in Pharmacology from India, where she developed a deep understanding of drug mechanisms and therapeutic interventions. Her research focused on innovative drug delivery systems, with a particular emphasis on mRNA vaccine thermalstabilization and microneedle based transdermal delivery technologies.
