Paul Sagoe is a PhD candidate in Biomedical Engineering and a Rostker Dissertation Fellow at Syracuse University, USA. His research under the mentorship of Dr. Era Jain focuses on designing controlled release systems including pH-responsive nano and microparticles for macrophage targeting and immunomodulation application. With these smart therapeutic platforms, Paul seeks to advance the treatment of macrophage-driven and inflammation related diseases with a particular emphasis on musculoskeletal disorders.
