Dr. Kuo-Ching (KC) Mei is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Molecular Pharmaceutics at the University of Utah College of Pharmacy. He was previously on faculty at SUNY Binghamton. Dr. Mei’s research lies at the interface of immunoengineering, gene therapy, and drug delivery, with a focus on designing lipid nanoparticle (LNP)-based platforms for mRNA therapeutics and cancer vaccines. His laboratory integrates principles of bioengineering and materials science to develop programmable delivery systems for precision medicine applications. In 2024, Dr. Mei was awarded the NIH Maximizing Investigators' Research Award (MIRA, R35) to support the development of novel biotherapeutic delivery platforms.
