Sven Vereecken is a PhD candidate in the Polymer Chemistry and Biomaterials Group at Ghent University, Belgium. He earned his Master’s degree in 2022 from the same institution, where he conducted research on hybrid polymers for corneal tissue engineering. His current doctoral work focuses on the design and development of both non-degradable and biodegradable cationic polymeric nanocarriers for the delivery of polynucleotides across a range of biological systems, including plants, insects, and humans.
